Friday Squash
Our main activity is our Friday evening squash, every Friday between 19.00 and 21.00 on courts 13 to 17 at the Frans Otten Stadion, IJbaanpad 43, Amsterdam.
The Friday evening squash takes any form that you are comfortable with. You turn up and play against other players who are present, at your own tempo. We play for fun and, if you wish to be more competitive, there is an internal competition available.
Once per month we organise a free group lesson to help you to improve your technique. You can also book a private lesson (for a fee) if you wish to improve your game further.
Players of all levels are welcome.
There are two sorts of membership:
- If you want to play regularly a full membership is the way to go. For this you pay an annual fee of only EUR 150. This gives you the right of unlimited play during the Friday club evening, and extras such as participation in the competition, discount for the New Year's Tournament and the possibility to play during the day outside of the club evening if courts are free. We also include three free half hour lessons with our trainer in that price!
- Pay per Play. If you don't think you'll come often (fewer than 10 times per annum) but you do want to play with us on occasions, then choose Pay per Play. You pay EUR 12 per time to play unlimited squash during the Friday club evening. This is still a good deal cheaper than hiring a court for two hours' play. For Pay per Play you do still need to register with us beforehand.
